Online Services

GP online services allow you to access a range of services via your computer, mobile or tablet. Once you have signed up, you will be able to:

  • book or cancel appointments online
  • renew or order repeat prescriptions online

You can still contact the practice by phone or in person, this is just another option, which other patients have found is more convenient and saves them time. More information including “how to” leaflets and videos of patients and why they are using GP online services are available at

How to sign-up

For more information, please contact reception or next time you visit the surgery, bring with you a piece of photo ID (passport, driving licence) and something with your address on like a bank statement but not a gas or electric bill. If you don’t have these, please talk to us and we will help you sign-up

Welcome to The Hollies Medical Practice

In light of the recent COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak the Hollies Medical Practice requests that you do not attend the surgery to book appointments and instead call us on 01827 217799 or use our online triage available here:

If you have symptoms of a high temperature or a new continuous cough please do not use the online triage service. The Government guidance is that you self isolate for the next 7 days. Please do not contact us on 01827 217799 if this is the case, contact NHS111 if your symptoms progress.

Please make sure if you attend the surgery between the 08:00-08:30am as some of our patients are known to do, that you cease this in the interest of your own safety immediately. 

We have received numerous calls with regards to letters for your employers, this is something we will not be carrying out on an individual basis. There is an official letter available through HMRC and GOV.UK however we have written a letter to accompany this is your employer requests a signed letter from your GP:

The Doctors and staff at The Hollies Medical Practice in Tamworth are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred healthcare. Extended Access appointments

Following  a National Government initiative from 1st September 2018 extra appointments will be offered across the whole of Tamworth (The New Mercian GP Network), including evening and weekend appointments. Additionally a new on line digital service will be available on Sunday mornings where appointments will be offered with a GP via the Q Doctor App. All patients with a registered mobile at the practice will have received a code to use this service in May 2019, please click on this link for further details.
